- Cause little or no sodium retention compared to Cortisone
or Hydrocortisone, and maintains electrolyte balance such
as nitrate, calcium and potassium.
- It has more glucocorticoid effects than mineralocorticoid
effects; therefore it can be safely used in patients with
hypokalaemia, or hypertension. |
