¡Ü
You should be careful not to eat too much immediately
before the delivery. : Near the date of delivery,
the stomach is relaxed and you have a good appetite
since the baby moves downward. Therefore, a
woman who has moved her belongings to her maiden
home or has been on a vacation for the delivery
may tend to eat excessively as she is comfortable.
However, she should not loosen the tension and
be careful about regular habits and weight control
until the baby is born.
¡Ü Easily digestible foods should be taken.
: You should have easily digestible foods toward
the expected date of delivery. Reduce the amount
of salt and avoid too stimulating or greasy
foods since taking not easily digestible foods
and having sudden pains may lead to digestive
upset or vomiting. You should be careful to
have balanced meals concentrating on the foods
having enough iron and calcium.
¡Ü Take light meals immediately prior to hospitalization.
: It takes longer than 12 hours on an average
from the pains of childbirth to the delivery
in the case of the primary delivery. Inasmuch
as physical strength is important for the delivery,
take light meals before going to the hospital.
You should have a small amount of easily digestible
foods since having too much may be rather burdensome.
