Feeling
sick and hyperemesis
|
| |
Feeling sick or hyperemesis
early in the morning is a common symptom at the initial
stage of pregnancy. About half of pregnant women have
such symptoms. This is due to the physical change occurring
at the beginning of pregnancy but disappearing after
about 3 months after the pregnancy usually. You feel
sick or have hyperemesis in the morning generally. A
few women continue to have such symptoms all day long.
A doctor should be consulted if vomiting is continued
and not stopped. Such symptom may be relieved by having
crackers, toast, light snack, etc. about 30 minutes
before getting up, and it is desirable to move slowly
after getting up. It is better to avoid greasy, fried,
or foods you don't like. And it is better to divide
three meals into 5-6 meals in small amounts. Sometimes,
it is effective to drink a beverage such as coke, cider,
etc. |
